PHP Developer, Lancaster and Morecambe, £25 - £30k
Working as a PHP Developer in a talented Web and Systems Development team (based in the Morecambe office), your work and ideas will contribute to the growth of the company. You will be creating brand new applications that will facilitate growth and expansion as well as improving existing systems.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge of PHP with at least 3 years commercial development experience (web and systems)
- Ability to divide responsibilities and collaborate with other programmers
- Strong MySQL skills, including design and implementation
- CSS, HTML, Javascript, Unix
It is crucial that you are highly organised and can prioritise, estimate project time, and work to deadlines. Accuracy, speed and high standards are also essential requirements.
DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT essential)
- Awareness of web standards and usability
- General office systems administration
- Perl programming
- Ext JS
- Configuring and managing of linux development environments and hosted web servers
- Managing a Windows Network
