INSURANCE CUSTOMER SERVICES (FIRST RESPONSE)

Location: Southport / Merseyside
Position: Full Time Permanent position
Hours: 08.00am – 8.00pm – Mon to Fri (shift basis) + Saturday Cover
Overtime As necessitated by the needs of the business
Salary: £13,000 to £15,000
Holidays: 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
BUPA: Optional

Our established client at GRO is recruiting new First Response staff to join their expanding Head Office in the Southport area.

Duties Include:

• Taking incoming calls from claimants
• Recording the claims information into a database
• Offering advice and guidance to the claimant
• Offering specific assistance in line with clients needs (e.g.) replacement vehicle provision
• Liaising with third party drivers including insurance companies etc
• Tracing of claims relevant information via approved sources, internet, yellow pages etc
• Contacting witnesses to discuss their opinions of the accident and completion of statements
• Updating brokers claims information via approved mediums – CDL
• Providing updates for brokers and clients alike
• Reporting of new claims to brokers and insurers alike
• Additional responsibilities as required to facilitate the set up and servicing of new claims and maintaining the departments protocols
