The responsibilities of the Financial Controller include

Producing monthly management accounts
Managing the Accounts office on a day to day basis
Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger
Investigating variances in the production process
Providing managers in other departments with any information they need for decision making
Liaising with outside organisations regarding credit ratings and foreign currency needs
Encouraging staff development
Producing the annual accounts and liaising with the auditors
Completing statistical and statutory returns

Any candidates must have an Accounting Qualification and recent relevant experience in an accounting role
