Job Description
This busy chain restaurant would like to recruit a Commis Chef to join its team of Chefs.
This thriving city centre restaurant and bar would like to appoint a Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation. This smart restaurant has a strong cliental. The restaurant is incredibly busy, therefore it is essential that applicants to this position have previous experience of volume cooking and are able to work under pressure.
The Head Chef requires a hard working individual who will quickly and easily fit in within the established brigade. Maintaining the standards that have already been achieved by this successful restaurant chain is paramount. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate, who will benefit from career training and showing the right levels of commitment would advance and excel within the company.
You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a busy, volume orientated establishment at commis level. It is also necessary that applicants possess a food hygiene certificate.
In line with the requirements of the asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
