TEAM LEADER- Southport

£20,000

The Role
• To lead, manage and develop a Personal Injury Claims Team to reach set objectives and identify training needs for both individuals and the team.
• To monitor team performance, assist, mentor and enthuse claims handlers in performing their daily duties.
• Participate in meetings with the Claims Manger in relation to team objectives, goals, performance and training.

Experience/Skills required
• You will have experience of supervising a team in a claims environment.
• Good liability and quantum knowledge gained within the personal injury industry.
• Litigation experience is essential. You must possess the ability to issue Court Proceedings and run a claim to Trial if required.

Duties Include
• Handling acaseload of personal injury claims.
• Monitor and motivate a team of claims handler to achieve set targets.
• Provide technical assistance for claims handlers in relation to both quantum and liability.
• Identify training needs for individuals and the team
• Liaise with the Claims Manager.
• Liaise with the Training Coordinator.
