Venn Group has been approached by one of its most prominent NHS clients within the North West to assist them in recruiting an M & E Engineer for an initial period of three months.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities you will be required to take the lead in inspecting and testing the organisation’s electrical and boiler systems at various Health Centres. Furthermore you will be responsible for the planned maintenance for each site including ensuring that contractor’s work is compliant. You will also be responsible for the management of repairs, energy management and Legionella testing. To be considered you must have a strong working knowledge of the above, preferably within an NHS environment.
The ideal candidate will hold an HNC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, however, MIET qualified candidates are desirable. You must be flexible in your approach to work as you may be required to do various ad hoc roles as requested by the Associate Director of Facilities.
