Quantity Surveyor- Civils-North West- £44-50+k

Our Client is one of the biggest Civil engineering contractors in the UK going from strength-to-strength. The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK, with an annual turnover in excess of £190 million they carry out projects from around £1m to £75m, Contracts range from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.

Principle activities include surfacing, highways construction, Highway Maintenance, Hard and soft landscaping, car parks and minor structures.
They Require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to carry out all commercial activities relevant to a Civil Engineering project including valuations, commercial reporting, pricing compensation events, procuring and managing subcontractors, supervision and training of junior staff.

Projects are mainly roads and bridges for Local Authority and private clients under various forms of contract and valued from £5m to £30m.

The role is site based and travel will be required within the region. Candidates will preferably have a BSc Quantity Surveying or the relevant skills and experience gained through working within the civil engineering industry as a Quantity Surveyor.
