My client is a multinational manufacturing company, employing over 50,000 staff in 350 sites worldwide. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join their European headquarters based on the Fylde coast.
Responsibilities will include: Analysis of business results, manage the activities of the team, ensuring deadlines are achieved to high standards, manage and improve internal controls, take lead in the formal budget and planning process, control of statutory audit, personal VAT and other tax legislation in UK and Europe.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have previous experience of multinational operations, manufacturing and staff management. Previous experience of Sarbanes Oxley would be a distinct advantage. This is a role for an experienced qualified accountant keen to further their career and technical skills within a developing and progressive, high tech manufacturing company
