Title: Electronics Test Engineer

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Working Hours: 8.20am-5.10pm Mon – Thur, 8.20am-12.30pm Fri

Duties:

• Testing electronic circuit boards and complete systems to fixed specifications.
• Repair to component level of circuit boards and assemblies returned from use in the field or which have failed in house test.
• Reporting on various metrics to the Operations Manager.
• Must work on own initiative being fully responsible for maintaining a high output level and meeting set targets.
• Any Ad Hoc duties which may be necessary from time to time.

Qualifications:

• HNC / Degree level in an Electronic Engineering subject.
• PC Literacy essential – Outlook / Excel / MS Word.
• Excellent communication skills essential.

The successful applicant will be expected to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving production line. The ability to work unsupervised and act on ones own initiative are essential qualities.

You will be expected to provide reports to your manager and assist with quality improvement.

Maintenance of test equipment may also be required.
