Contract Manager- North West-Project Division-£45-50k

My client undertakes all aspects of construction including New Build, Refurbishment, Design & Build, Housing Regeneration, Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and Service Installation. We have an established base of blue chip clients in both the Public and the Private sectors.

They are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager who can come in and hit the ground running and pick up the role and really progress the current projects forward.

Experience in health, education and leisure sectors is essential.

JOB PURPOSE:
To effectively organise and manage one or more construction projects/contracts, ranging in value from £50,000 to circa £5m from receipt of contract award through to issue of final certificate, ensuring delivery on time, to budget and to agreed standards in accordance with the requirements and targets set out in project agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure each project/contract is adequately managed and the delivery team is aware of its contractual obligations to ensure that the company's position is protected at all times and contracts are completed in full compliance with a range of commercial contracts.

To liaise with clients and their representatives before, during and after completion of a contract to ensure their needs are understood and met.

To provide support to the delivery team as necessary.

To work with partners, sub-contractors, operatives and other professionals to support this process.
