Description of Role

Responsible for the caseload under Debt Management, setting up new files for customers on the internal computer system, managing caseloads and liaising with the Creditors and Debtors.

Main Responsibilities

Organisational:
•	To act as liaison between client and creditors.

•	To monitor every step of the set up process; especially ensuring that all balances are up to date, the proposals are in place and we are dealing with the right party.
•	Reviewing cases on a daily basis
•	Ensuring that Quality Standards for accuracy and timeliness are met in all cases
•	Dealing with ad hoc correspondence and telephone enquiries.
•	To provide specialist advice to clients on all aspects of personal debt management. 
•	To conduct regular case reviews using information provided by client to confirm the solution provided is still the best advice for the client.
•	To focus on meeting objectives.
•	Taking an active role in any “in house” training programme 
•	To act as first point of contact for clients’ queries/issues; referring/escalating as appropriate.

Skills and Experience Required

•	Experience of managing task lists
•	Confident communicator with good negotiation skills

Job Details

AMSPAR qualifications, NHS experience, PAS and Medisec are an advantage but not essential. You ideally will have a sound knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
